I absolutely love teaching yoga to all levels! I especially love teaching people who have never taken a single yoga class. I remember my first yoga experience. The fear and insecurity that rises when doing something new can be overwhelming. It also offers empowerment and richness that has it's rewards every single time we beyond our comfort zones. We widen our territory. I wept after my first class tears of bliss and joy when I was at my first yoga class, which is why I take especially careful consideration with my slow and simple teaching style. Much more than merely mastering the poses and sequences, I want for you to experience the gift that yoga offers you by increasing your self awareness, and self acceptance. You will get stronger and more flexible, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. :)
The practice of yoga both humbling and empowering. It teaches us so much about ourselves, how to show up for ourselves and the world in a new and authentic way. There is no goal to achieve in the practice of yoga, though you will continue to enjoy the increase it offers you. Yoga is a personal practice which you can enjoy as you wish for the rest of your life.
Yoga is the mother of self-care, it is an amazing practice on it’s own and with some instruction over time you can expect to have the confidence to roll out your mat just about anywhere, at home or on your travels to nurture your entire being. Whether you are a beginner, or beginning your practice again or simply want to
deepen your relationship with yourself through the practice of yoga, I invite you to practice with me.
